This intricate Zapotec Rug was woven by hand over a span of three months by 10th generation artisans. What sets it apart is not just its natural dyes, free from chemicals, but the vibrant hues sourced from Oaxaca's native flora and fauna. The beautiful stripes are meticulously hand woven with organic and rich colors produced by natural dyes. 

The artist behind this rug comes from a 10th generation family that own a highly skilled workshop in Teotitlan, Oaxaca. Bulmaro Perez and his brother Diego are the young generation working alongside their parents and grandparents to continue this traditional trade. They do custom rugs, contemporary models and pay homage to their traditional patterns with Zapotec roots. 

Zapotec Rugs are washable and will keep its timeless white and yellow stripes.
