The artist behind this rug comes from a 10th generation family that own a highly skilled workshop in Teotitlan, Oaxaca. Bulmaro Perez and his brother Diego are the young generation working alongside their parents and grandparents to continue this traditional trade. They do custom rugs, contemporary models and pay homage to their traditional patterns with Zapotec roots.
